Benchmarks
Our firm is considered a leading source of key information relating, in particular, to the Australian Accounting Profession, having benchmarked firms since 1974, commencing with the release of our first charge rate & salary survey in June of that year.
As part of these extensive benchmarking services, we collect and collate data illlustrating:
- current & proposed salaries for 15 differing professional personnel and 9 administrative staff
- charge-out rates in support of the above salaries
- actual efficiency and productivity data for both professional and administrative staff
- other broad ranging key practice performance benchmarks such as earn rates, recovery rates, write offs, average staffing costs and many more. Most indicators that can be measured and of benefit to the profession are available through this service.
Importantly, results are based solely on actual information provided by firms throughout Australia only, with participants ranging from Second Tier practices to the smallest of Sole Practitioners. Specific benchmarking services are also available for accounting networks, associations and federations of firms.
Additionally, we also record similar salary and charge rate data applicable to the financial planning industry.
